Twice-poisoned Russian dissident Vladimir Kara-Murza will be on the campus of Skidmore College on Wednesday and Thursday, Jan. 31 and Feb. 1.

On Wednesday night, at 7:30 p.m., the vice chairman of Open Russia will screen his film “Nemtsov – a profile of Boris Nemtsov,” a Russian opposition leader who was murdered in February, 2015 in front of the Kremlin. A discussion will follow the film.

On Thursday night from 5 to 6:30 p.m., Kara-Murza and Jonathan Brest, a scholar of Russian literature and politics, will discuss the future of Russia. Kate Graney, the Joseph C. Palamountain chair of political science, will moderate the discussion.

Both events will take place in the Davis Auditorium on the campus on North Broadway in Saratoga Springs.
