Washington-Saratoga-Warren-Hamilton-Essex BOCES will offer a student job fair for its students at 9 a.m. Wednesday, May 29, at the F. Donald Myers Education Center, 15 Henning Road, Saratoga Springs.
The event will feature 27 local employers, including Adirondack Beverages, Alpin Haus, B&B Plumbing/Heating, Bonacio Construction, Camp Little Notch, Casella Waste Management, Commercial Paving Co, LLC, Curtis Lumber, DZ Restaurants, Emerich Sales 7 Service Inc, Fort Hudson Nursing Center and Fort Miller Group, who are seeking skilled labor. WSWHE BOCES trains high school students as well as adults at its Saratoga Springs and Hudson Falls campuses.
“We are pleased to not only offer this opportunity to our students, but assist our business and industry partners who help keep our programs responsive to the market,” Assistant Superintendent for Instructional Programs Nancy DeStefano said. “Career and Technical Education prepares students to earn recognized certifications which makes their skills very desirable.”
