Lake George student athletes sign letters of intent

The Lake George Central School District will celebrate 10 student-athletes who will sign Letter of Intent to continue their athletic careers in college next year. The signing event will take place at 2:45 p.m. on Friday, May 31, in the Lake George Jr.-Sr. High School gym, Canada Street, Lake George.

The students are:
Chris Becker, basketball signs to Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts
Logan Duers, wrestling, signs with Castleton University
Mason Flatley, basketball, signs with SUNY Oneonta
Kagan Helms, soccer, signs with SUNY Potsdam
Michael Johnson, baseball, signs with SUNY Polytechnic Institute
Alysia Kane, volleyball, SUNY Adirondack
Jimmy Kelleher, football, signs with St. John Fischer College
Nicole Kingsley, soccer, SUNY Plattsburgh
Sarah Kohls, soccer, Clarkson University
Riley Orr, baseball, Castleton University

These athletes join their classmates, Graceann Bennett and Mattie Williams, who signed their national letters of intent earlier this school year.

“We are so proud of these student athletes, who have maintained rigorous academic and training schedules and served as a positive role models in our school community,” District Superintendent Lynne Rutnik said. “Not only are they role models, they are inspiring to both students and adults alike. I am looking forward to following their careers.”
