SUNY Adirondack will host a grand reopening of the refurbished college gymnasium on Wednesday, Jan. 22, when the Timberwolves men’s and women’s basketball teams compete against the Clinton Community College Cougars.
The event, which is free and open to the public, will include complimentary SUNY Adirondack Athletics hats to the first 50 people through the door.
During the games, the SUNY Adirondack Radio Broadcasting Club will hold a “Ts for 3s” promotion, throwing t-shirts in the stands for every three-point basket scored. The student club also will provide music and host a half-time shooting contest.
The women’s game will start at 5 p.m. The men’s game will follow at 7 p.m.
SUNY Adirondack’s gymnasium recently opened after a partial renovation project that included work on the building’s roof and basketball court refinishing.
