The Waterford-Halfmoon school district is preparing to welcome a new superintendent in July — he is Patrick Pomerville, a Halfmoon resident who is the Queensbury Elementary School principal.
He’s also worked in the Hadley-Luzerne district and in Glens Falls.
The 51-year-old educator will be officially named at a meeting later this month.
Pomerville will get a three-year contract agreement, with an initial salary of $140,000, local BOCES officials said. He also will contribute 30 percent of the cost for his health insurance coverage.
Current Superintendent Timothy Lange will retire this school year.
