The League of Women Voters of Saratoga County will again produce an information guide for voters on the county’s school district’s Board of Education elections.
All candidates are invited to participate in this on-line guide and should have received information when they picked up petitions. However, any candidates who did not may contact the LWV Saratoga by emailing the group at lwvsaratoga411@gmail.com to get login information so they may complete their responses.
The guide will also include any propositions on the ballots, the budget and information on location of polling places, hours the polls are open, whether absentee ballots are available and if registration is required to vote.
All of this information is part of the League of Women Voters of the US voter information website, www.vote411.org. Information can be found there on absentee voting, voting machines, military and overseas voting, assistance for voters with disabilities, voting hours and ID needed for voting. Links to the state Board of Elections can be found there as well.
The league will post information on the June primary elections in the spring.
