Saratoga Unites will host a free candidate forum for those vying for a seat on the Saratoga Springs City School District Board of Education on Wednesday, April 10, from 7 to 8:30 p.m, in the Saratoga Springs Public Library H. Dutcher Community Room, Henry Street, Saratoga Springs.
All seven active candidates were invited to participate and share their views on school board with the community.
“It is not often that we see so many candidates running for school board in our district, and we thought it was important to ensure community members get to hear from as many of the candidates as possible,” Norah Brennan, executive vice president of Saratoga Unites, said. “We’ve hosted candidate forums in past election cycles and were pleased to be able to do the same for school board.”
Candidates will be granted a two-minute introduction each, followed by written questions submitted by the audience and selected at random by the facilitator. Five of the seven candidates have confirmed attendance.
